RGA is an industrial rubber
distributor/fabricator which currently maintains fifteen warehouses in eight U.S. States.
With the creation of an ESOP, true employee commitment has been achieved through stock
ownership.
Our Corporation was formed in January of 1994 as the result of a
merger of five companies which maintained seven locations. Our oldest facility,
RGA-Memphis, has been in existence since 1971. Rubber & Gasket Co. of America markets
MRO and OEM products to a wide spectrum of customers. Although heavy industry, for obvious
reasons is our main focus, we are also well established with lighter high-tech
manufacturing facilities. Every conceivable hose, conveyor and drive belt, gasket, pump
and valve sealing application can be addressed by us. Our locations are all full line
fabrication stores and are manned by management, outside sales, clerical, shop and
delivery personnel.
Electronically interconnected by a mainframe computer at
Corporate in Little Rock, Arkansas, our facilities are most capable of offering fast,
flexible customer service. Appreciable cost advantages are attained through central
purchasing, and localized management of accounts payable and receivable. Our corporate
facility serves as a feeder point for those products which we negotiate in truck load
purchases. Although RGA proudly represents an impressive array of well known domestic
vendors, European and Pacific Rim imports create added depth of product line.
Our steady growth pattern is partly due to volume purchasing and
the ability to support multi-located customers. Clientele may take advantage of single
point placement and invoicing of purchase orders. Computer tracking capabilities allow JIT
programs such as inventory consignment.
Trained RGA personnel serve as the anchor of our business. We
utilize vendor offered schools, and conduct ongoing in house programs and seminars to
expand product and operational knowledge. Unlike off-the-shelf distributors, our employees
are trained in vulcanization, welding, die press cutting, slitting, automated coupling and
CNC equipment operation. As a full line rubber supplier, RGA can turn your order around
professionally and quickly.
